Eighteen years on from his first internship in a post-production and editing role with SAT1. TV Stuttgart, Germany, he has amassed a wealth of experience and skills that has fed into the breadth of his conceptual creativity – a journey that has taken him from production studios and recording basements in Berlin and London, to post-production houses and corporate head offices in Los Angeles and New York, to Film and TV companies in the Middle East and back to Europe, London, where he currently resides.

A few career highlights
On the visual side of the equation Omar Shoukri has recently consulted to McKinsey & Co - New York, on a UAE governmental film project and, crossing the Atlantic, has directed an international live TV show at Battersea Studios, London, for ETV Media Group.
He is an accomplished Senior Editor and Producer, having worked with a long list of TV houses, production and post-production studios in Europe, the US and, gateway to the Middle East - Dubai. Clients have included CNN, BBC & BBC Arabic, SAT.1 / Pro 7 and MBC. He has recently been working for Turner/CNN London editing TV & News packages for US and Global distribution.
In the Audio space Omar Shoukri has an extensive collection of experience as a composer and audio engineer in creating and mixing music for fashion shows, short films, TV programs and documentaries. He has performed at the Liverpool Arts Festival, the Victoria & Albert museum, London and he was also involved for the premiere of the Dubai - Berlin cultural Festival.
Though his passion is creating music themes for TV and film.
If he has had a signature accomplishment so far, it would have to be his role as a senior consultant and trainer in conjunction with the BBC for the national television of Oman where his remit encompassed combined responsibility and creative expression for editing, composing and sound engineering. The advisory work done with McKinsey & Co, New York demonstrated his consultancy services and leveraged his multi-lingual abilities, enabling the creation of cross boarder solutions.
